Clatsop County fire still burning, 25 acres so far

As of Monday evening, the Knob Point fire in the Clatsop State Forest is at 25 acres according to the National Interagency Fire Center.
At approximately 8 a.m. Monday a fire was reported to be burning in the Clatsop State Forest by the National Interagency Fire Center.
The fire, which is of undetermined size, is burning approximately one mile southeast of Knob Point and approximately nine miles southeast of Knappa.
According to Melissa Payne, administrative assistant at the Oregon Department of Forestry Astoria District, the “event is unfolding” and “resources are being deployed” to the affected area.
