“To empower startups, entrepreneurs, and small farmers with cutting-edge facilities, this centre will drive innovation, R&D, and value addition, helping small farmers integrate into the food value chain and strengthening India’s position as a global food basket,” said Paswan.
The Union Minister was visiting Thanjavur for a convocation ceremony at NIFTEM.
While addressing the convocation, he emphasised that graduating students, trained in food technology & innovation, will contribute significantly to nation’s make in India & Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
The National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur (NIFTEM-T) is a Research and Educational Institution under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
