THE WHAT? Givaudan has confirmed its leadership succession, with CEO Gilles Andrier to retire in March 2026 after 20 years, and Christian Stammkoetter of Danone appointed as designated CEO from 1 March 2026.

THE DETAILS Andrier, who grew Givaudan into a global leader in Fragrance & Beauty and Taste & Wellbeing, will be proposed as Chairman at the 2026 AGM, succeeding Calvin Grieder who steps down after 12 years. Stammkoetter brings 25 years of FMCG experience across personal care, food and nutrition, with a strong track record in global growth and innovation.

THE WHY? The succession plan ensures continuity and renewal, combining Andrier’s industry expertise at Board level with Stammkoetter’s fresh leadership to drive Givaudan’s 2030 strategy and reinforce its role as a partner to beauty and fragrance brands worldwide.
