Sky 5 showed the charred framework of a home in a wooded area behind a suburban neighborhood.
The house is in the 900 block of Wait Avenue.
The home appeared to be abandoned, but WRAL is working to confirm that information along with if anyone was injured.
Massive plumes of smoke were seen rising from the interior outline of the home, as the fire burned through the walls and roof.
