Nestled in the outskirts of Seattle is BELLA LUNA FARMS, a quaint working farm and events venue.Amy Ly from Seattle wedding florist GATHER DESIGN COMPANY wanted to highlight the beauty of the farm with a modern take on a ‘farm girl’ concept. It was important that the shoot be both editorial and realistic. YESSIE LIBBY MAKEUP ARTISTRY provided beauty that was clean and understated, and wrapped Emily’s hair up in a linen towel to keep it off her face. With the idea that Emily was completing her morning chores, Amy styled Emily in the herb garden cutting herbs, picking strawberries, feeding the goats, collecting eggs, and working in the garden rows. Seattle wedding photographer SARAH CARPENTER documented Emily’s movements around the farm, letting her relax and get her hands dirty, but also providing editorial guidance and posing throughout.
