Foodie inspired food and entertainment extravaganza FoodieLand is taking over NRG Park all weekend long, rocking over 185 vendors, multicultural foods, games and entertainment for the whole family. Tickets are $10.49 in advance.

Houston Oyster & Seafest at Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park

Benefiting the Galveston Bay Foundation’s Oyster Shell Recycling and Habitat Restoration Programs, the annual Houston Oyster & Seafest invites folks to indulge in signature oyster and seafood dishes from several of Houston’s hottest restaurants, alongside beer, wine, seltzers and vodka cocktails, live music and educational exhibits. Tickets start at $35. 

Saint Arnold EaDo Pub Crawl

Saturday, 2 to 6 p.m.

Houston’s beloved Saint A Pub Crawl takes over the neighborhood of EaDo Pub for an afternoon of craft brews, good vibes and bar-hopping fun. The crawl kicks off at 2 p.m., with plenty of EaDo bars on the map, including local favorites like Little Woodrow’s, Truck Yard and Pitch 25. Start at any participating bar to grab a punch card and work your way through the list, then head to the final stop — Saint Arnold Beer Garden & Restaurant — by 6 p.m. to claim your coveted commemorative pint glass.

Brunch Launch at Októ

The buzzy Montrose Collective spot gets even buzzier as it launches its highly anticipated brunch service this Sunday. Executive chef Yotam Dolev promises a Mediterranean-inspired spread packed with bold flavors and indulgent bites, including Ricotta Toast with truffle honey, Beet-Cured Lox Latke, Blue Crab Omelette, and a Burger Au Poivre with gorgonzola and gruyere, plus signature cocktails like the Caviar Martini and Októ Aperol Spritz. Brunch will run every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a lively atmosphere featuring occasional live music. Reservations are available on OpenTable, with walk-ins are welcome.

Houston Barbecue Festival at Humble Civic Center Arena Complex

The highly anticipated HOUBBQ Festival is back for its 12th year, and the 2025 lineup is sizzling with some of the city’s best smokehouses, including fan favorites like Blood Bros BBQ, Feges BBQ and Pinkerton’s, along with exciting newcomers like Mimsy’s Craft Barbecue and Space Craft BBQ. Pre-sale tickets are $60 (general admission) or $120 (VIP), which include unlimited samples from every participating joint, plus some exclusive perks for VIPs.
