Leaders at Door County Medical Center have signed a contract to implement Epic as the center’s new electronic health record system.
Epic will replace Meditech as the hospital’s electronic records system. The transition to the new system has begun, with the new system expected to go live Feb. 7, 2026.
Epic will allow patients to access their medical records from multiple healthcare facilities through the MyChart application.
The most widely used electronic health records system in the United States, Epic is used by providers who care for approximately 72% of the U.S. population.
